Halloween 2009

We had a great Halloween! From our big adult party, ward party, class parties, to trick treating, we were busy but had a blast. It's my second favorite holiday. Savannah dressed as Minnie Mouse or Snow White depending on the moment, Ashley was a witch, Parker was a Star Wars clone, and Madi was a Vampire Lady. I was a Vampire Vixen and Nate was a colonial pirate. Nate does the outdoor decorations and I do the indoor.

Sorry about all the pictures, I didn't know when to stop!

Our games were a big hit this year. First we played, "I Have Never Ever." Everyone takes the number of beans as you have guests, then you start by saying one thing you have never done. I said, "I have never been arrested." Everyone that had been arrested had to get up and put a bean in the bucket. You go around doing this. It was hilarious and very interesting.
We then played "Who, What, and Where." First you send three people out of the room. As a group you decide what the "who, what and where" will be. Everyone needs to be prepared to act each one out (no words are allowed). You invite the first person in and he/she asks three people at random to act each thing out. The second person is called in and the first person acts out what they saw or what they think the three things are. The third person is invited in and the second person acts them out. The third person then guesses what the three things are. We did Elvis, Las Vegas, and a diaper. It was a riot watching people act out putting a diaper on their spouse.

The last game was called "The Best Game." We divided the group into four teams and gave them a paper. They had to choose which person could be the best at each task. The catergories were: The Best Limbo Dancer
The Best bubble gum blower
The Longest standing long jump
The Best Stupid Human Trick
The Strongest Thumb in a thumb war
The Longest Distance Flown from a paper airplane
Everyone really got into it.
