HALLOWEEN HELP!!!

I'm so excited for Halloween! I have thrown a Halloween Party for our families for many years and now that we are so far away from them I couldn't give it up, so I'm inviting the whole neighborhood/ward. WHAT AM I THINKING!?!?

I loved the big adult Halloween Party Savannah Cook had for us in South Weber. I want my party to be like that; just tons of people; crazy; and fun. I need your help though remembering all the games she would have us play. Please rack your brains and send any Halloween Party game ideas you have. I made over 30 invitations!!!
I made these invitations and attached them to gourds I picked at the pumpkin patch. I think they turned out cute.
I got to go on my first field trip with my kids! It was so fun to spend this time with Parker.
We picked out the biggest pumpkin we could carry. I later found out we were only suppose to get small ones, so I paid them a little extra for it. Oops!
My friend Jill Larson and I went back to the pumpkin patch later that week. We braved going without our hubbies. It was pretty crazy. By the time we got out to the pumpkin patch it was so dark we could hardly see anything. I was trying to find those little gourds for my invitations and kind of left my kids to find the pumpkin they wanted. When I went to pay for our pumpkins they had each gotten at least 3 and Ashley had about 6! Nate's coming next time!

PLEASE SEND ME YOUR HALLOWEEN PARTY IDEAS!!!!

Jenny, I'm bummed we will miss your awesome Halloween party, but am glad you are carrying on the tradition. I wish I had ideas for games, but alas I have only been to the parties you've thrown. I will be checking back for what other people suggest though. Cute invitations, you're so fun!

Jen,

There was the "stare" game, where you get in a circle and count to three. Look up and who ever is "staring" at you, you both go out! The strobe light is fun, where you act out who you are in the light! You could do some bobbing for apples games, or donuts on a string!
Oh, there was the brown paper bag game, where you had to do something? use your mouth to grab the bag? That one was hard.

I also think it fun to just sit around and visit!
Love Ya!
Have Fun!

I love your invitations. (and your blog background..how do you change it all the time?) I always have huge plans for tons of fun in October with my kids but can't always fit it all in.
The sardine game was fun, where one person hid and when you find them you hide too until everyone is in there.
The story game where one person is in the middle and tells a story until they say the specified word like "ghost" then the next person has to get up and continue the story. How about the quarter game between the "cheeks" ha ha. Or put a dime on top of a packed cup of flour and people have to cut off slices with a knife, if it falls they have to get the dime with their mouth. Or more simple ones like last year at Sav. we threw a football through a hole in a box or you could use a tire.
Good luck! What are you being for Halloween? I need ideas.

Jen! Your invitations are so cute! How fun for you!! I can't remember very many games that haven't already been mentioned, I'm sure as soon as I get off the computer some will come to me though.
Today Ridger and I were driving in the car and out of the blue he said, "Mom can we go visit Parker at his new house? He came and visited us!" He talks about Parker all the time!!
(It was so nice of Nate to stop and say hi last week!!)

I will really miss your party! I know it was a lot of work, but it was always so fun. My favorite that you did was the t-shirt game, where they put on TONS of t-shirts. There is always relays, they are fun. You always have such great ideas. Good Luck, Wish we could come!

I understand how much work it is. I just got done having a huge halloween party for Shaylee and Madison. I worked so hard. I was a great party. We played the "what if" game that I learned from the Cooks. Everyone writes a "What if" question and throws it in the pot. Then you pick someones what if and and answer it. You then throw back your answer and pick a new one. Then read your what if and new answer together. It is so fun!
Good Luck!
