Fall Visitors!

My parents were finally able to come down and see us at our new home!!! I was so glad that mom was feeling well enough and dad was able to break away from the farm before beet harvest. They had stayed in St. George for a few days and then stayed at our house. We had such a good visit with them. I miss them so much! Being with them made me realize how much a love them and still need them. They are a great source of strength to me. Their positive attitude toward life even when times are hard has always amazed me. They are great parents and grandparents. The kids sure enjoyed their visit too and we let them miss school on Friday to spend time with them. Ashley even wanted to miss her field trip.

We drove to Fish Lake and enjoyed seeing the beautiful colors of Fall. It was our first time seeing this lake except for Nate, who has seen practically everything in Southern Utah now.

The kids were sure interested watching grandpa re bandage mom's wound. She got staph infection from having a nerve taken out of her leg for testing. It has had a tough time healing because she is on predizone. We hope it gets better soon.

Parker loved showing grandpa is snowmobile magazine. He can't wait for SNOW! The girls loved playing Clue with grandma.

Our friends, Chris and Michelle Matthews, from our new ward. We went up a beautiful canyon to Monroevian Park to have dinner together. It was fun to go from bright yellow leaves at Fish Lake to deep red leaves here. It was sure a great day.
