We're Here!

We're finally getting settled! Yeah! I wrote more about our move, but somehow it ended up at the bottom of this blog and I'm not smart enough to get it to the top. So if you want, read this post backwards. I'm always curious to see what people's new houses look like and I know you are all too far away to come for a while so here are some pictures.
The playroom/craft room downstairs - The kids are loving this room and I love the two big closets to put their toys in.
The downstairs bathroom- This use to be a bright yellowish green color. Now it's a calming grayish blue.

The office - I just finished painting it! It was a lovely purple color before. Now it looks just like our old one, except bigger. We will probably put our striped chair in here too.
Our bedroom - It's a little bigger than our old one and it has a ceiling fan! Yeah! We will eventually paint it. Any suggestions on a color?

Our bathroom - We love this tub!!! It feels just like a hot tub! It has little holes around the bottom instead of big jets. It feels great! It also has a light in it, so at night it looks so cool.

The front room- It's about the same size as our old.

The kids downstairs enjoying our new 50" T.V. That was Nate's big purchase for the new home.We finally moved to Richfield on June 16, 2008. We've been here two weeks today! The time has flown bye. I'm so glad to finally feel settled again and be together with Nate. It had been a few rough months. He is still gone a lot but at least he can come home now most nights. We are loving it here so far.

Everything is so close. The grocery store is just four blocks away. The schools are a mile (if that). The book mobile stops right by my house. The church is only two houses away. Walmart, Kmart, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, and more are only three miles. We have had many nice neighbors come to visit and a whole herd of kids over to play. There's over 40 kids just on our street! Richfield has a lot to offer the kids in the summer. They have free lunch in the park every day if you want to go. They also offer a summer fun program for free every Monday and Wednesday for two hours. We've gone a few times and the kids love it. The girls and I went to the Miss Richfield Pageant Saturday night at the college. We loved it. We also went to a neat patriotic program they had there on Sunday night. We are going to a neighbors for a pool party this afternoon. Life seems to be pretty laid back here. I think we'll really like it. I still have some painting to do, pictures to hang, boxes to unpack, but that will come.

Man, I am so impressed that you are already getting so involved with the city of Richfield. Way to go Jenny! I like all the paint colors and how the house is turning out. You're so good at that all. Can't wait to see it in realy someday! I'm sorry Nate still has to travel a lot, but hopefully that will calm down once he gets use to everything? Hope we can see you at the reunion.
