He's moving on up!!! Nathan is now the Region 4 Director of UDOT! He was also nominated as UDOT's overall Leader of the Year and awarded the Governor's Award for Excellency in Leadership!
Nathan received the State of Utah's Governor's Award for Excellency in Leadership on June 3, 2008! I am so proud of him! He was chosen out of hundreds of nominees throughout the state. The awards ceremony took place at the Utah State Capitol in the rotunda. It was a beautiful setting. Governor Jon Huntsman Jr. met with all the candidates in the gold room and then spoke to the entire audience. Nathan's parents, grandparents, sister Lisa, and three former co-workers came to congratulate him. He also received UDOT's Leader of the Year a couple months ago. For those of you who haven't heard, Nathan got a big job promotion and is now UDOT's Region Director for Southern Utah. He manages everything from Nephi south. It is the largest region in the state as far as land goes. We are thrilled that we have finally set a moving date and will be able to be together as a family again. He has been living in a hotel in Richfield at least half of each week for the past two + months. We are going to miss South Weber tremendously. We have lived here for 6 1/2 years now and will miss many wonderful friends. We are excited for this new opportunity though and know it's where we should go.

Congratulations Nathan!! That is pretty awesome. I loved all of the pictures of the kids. I can't believe how tall Parker is and handsome too, he really is growing up. I hope you are doing okay, I will talk to you soon. love ya
Jenny, so glad to hear that you're doing well. We have been thinking of you so much and I hope things continue to be okay as you move and things change so much. We can't wait to see you at the reunion! Congrats again to Nate on such an awesome achievement.
